The Woodford Green Amenity Group is a registered charity in Essex.

Established in 1974, and in accordance with our original constitution, the group strives to:

stimulate public interest in the area of Woodford Green
promote high standards of planning and architecture in Woodford Green
secure the preservation, protection, development and improvement of features of historic or public interest in Woodford Green

On a practical level, the group has been responsible for the beautiful floral planters iat the Library, Fire Station and Charteris Road crossing, along with the celebration tree at the apex of Kings Avenue and Monkhams Avenue, and litter picking in the area.

We have a registered interest with the London Borough of Redbridge in Hawkey Hall and the Library in Sales Lane East .
